I combine expertise in speciality areas of Psychiatry, Primary Care and Addiction Medicine to enable an innovative, evidence based approach to complex and often distressing manifestations of emotional and psychological crisis.

Acknowledging the limitations of current mainstream service provision our practice works effectively with patients and their families to formulate robust evidence based treatment plans.

The service does not offer unproven treatments and has an ethos of not 'Medicalising'.

Two key aims of intervention are:

• Successful and prompt management  of the current situation/crisis

• Equipping the patient with skills to identify and manage future challenges
